Eggs have gone from bad to good for your diet

NZHF are relaxing the recommended limit on eggs for people at increased risk of heart disease. Previously the recommendation was 3 eggs per week – this has now lifted to 6 eggs per week for people who are at increased risk. For the general population who have a heart healthy diet, there is no restriction but a note to pay special attention to the food that are eaten alongside eggs.
